NEXUS at the 2026 Manufacturing Alberta Conference

Virtual Forklift brought NEXUS to the 2026 Manufacturing Alberta Conference in Calgary, giving attendees a chance to experience virtual forklift training firsthand. Alongside conversations about workplace safety, visitors could sit at the controls, put on a headset and see how a simulator session works.

The conference, presented by the Manufacturers’ Health & Safety Association (MHSA) at Hotel Blackfoot, brought manufacturing and safety professionals together to exchange ideas about workplace health and safety. For Virtual Forklift, it was an opportunity to turn a product explanation into a hands-on experience.

From the conference floor to Alberta training locations

MHSA has purchased five Fold N Go units and plans to use them throughout Alberta. That takes the story beyond the conference demonstration: portable simulator platforms can travel to the locations where training is needed.

Fold N Go is designed around that flexibility. Its folding format allows a training station to be packed up and moved between locations, supporting programs that serve more than one classroom or facility.

A closer look at NEXUS

The photographs capture the different parts of the demonstration: attendees using the headset, hands on the steering and forklift controls, and conversations with the Virtual Forklift team. A projected simulator view also gave people nearby a way to follow the virtual environment.

NEXUS brings the computer, headset, platform and physical controls together with preloaded training software. Its module-based approach gives instructors focused exercises to introduce, review and repeat as part of their training program.

Built by trainers, for trainers.

Our focus is on giving trainers a practical tool they can use with their operators. A demonstration opens that conversation; a training program gives it a purpose. MHSA’s planned use of five portable units across Alberta is an exciting next step for bringing that experience to more locations.
